Arowolo: My ex-wife wasnt faithful to me: she prefered her her boyfriend

Akolade Arowolo, who allegedly murdered his banker wife, Titilayo Arowolo, Thursday, told an Ikeja High Court that his late wife preferred her ex-boyfriend to him and their baby.
Arowolo said this while giving testimony in his self defence.

He told the court that they got married on August 8, 2008 and were blessed with a child.


Arowolo, who is a graduate of Genetics from the University of Lagos said he met his wife during his post-graduate programme when he helped her to sort out some academic challenges, pointing out that one of the reasons they had problems in their marriage was because of ego and immaturity and not because of violence.
According to him, the problems he had with his wife forced him to leave his house to sleep in a friend’s place one night, expressing surprise that the deceased did not call him throughout the night.
Arowolo stressed that he, however,  returned home the next day because he was missing her and the baby, but added that when he got home he decided to check his wife’s telephone to see if she made any calls the previous night.

His words: “I discovered that she called three people the previous night when I went through the call logs. I noticed that she called her father, her ex- boyfriend, Ehime and one other person I don’t know; so I didn’t know how to confront her. I was thinking of how to present the matter to her so I decided that I will ask her while we were eating. So, when we started eating I told her that it was not funny that I did not come home last night and she never called me.

”She said she did not have credit and I said but you had credit to call daddy,  your ex-boyfriend and one other person and my wife got very angry and said I should never touch her telephone again, that she had the right to call anybody she so wished and in my presence she called her ex-boyfriend.
“For the first time in our marriage I slapped her and she ran out of the house and left my baby behind.”
He said he had never for once beaten his wife before that incident when he slapped her in June 2011.
”My style was whenever she came home with any funny character, I would leave the house,” he added, even as he also blamed his wife’s family for interfering in their marriage.

Arowolo told Justice Lateefa Okunnu that his wife once told him that she did not know why she kept obeying her step mother,  adding that she felt like she was hypnotized by the woman.
According to Arowolo, his wife further alleged that her step mum made her do things she would not have ordinarily done.

The matter was adjourned till May 22, 2013 for further hearing.

Nollywood celebrates @ 20

Drums are bound to be rolled out from April 27, as practitioners in the Nigerian film industry celebrate the industry at 20 in grand style.

The celebration is coming weeks after Nigeria’s President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, hosted practitioners  to a special dinner at the State House, Marina, Lagos, early this month.
At a press briefing last week, Heads of Nollywood guilds disclosed that the celebration will last for four months.

Following the programme of activities released by the coalition, the celebration will commence on April 27, with a media flag off, featuring Nollywood stars’ parade, mini documentary presentation, best of Nollywood films, insight into Nollywood at 20 events, interactive session with the press and invited guests. A special anniversary Jumat service will take place on May 3 and a non-denominational church service on May 5, which will hold in a major Mosque and Church respectively to thank God for the journey so far.

Apart from the anniversary raffle draw, there will also be CSR activities such as coaching clinics, visits, social work, fundraising and donations to the less privileged. The celebration will also feature screening of Nollywood classic movies in collaboration with electronic media owners, with a workshop for both members and the general public. There will also be a launch of appeal and trust fund for practitioners, while a novelty match will take place between Nollywood and other VIPs.
Also, plans are being hatched to stage a special anniversary film festival and commemorative film, while the celebration will climax with the Nollywood Gala at 20, featuring award presentation to deserving practitioners.

In her address,  president of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Ibinabo Fiberesima noted that, “Mr. President recognised Nollywood’s contribution to Nigeria’s economy in addition to re-branding of the country’s image, youth empowerment and employment. Now, Nollywood wants to celebrate 20 years of a motion picture revolution. This grand celebration, which promises to showcase our people, pride, possibilities and culture tagged Nollywood at 20, will begin on April 27, 2013.”

Dead' prostitute wakes up & jumps out of coffin en route to morgue

A prostitute in Zimbabwe 'died' during a hotel romp with a client - only to come back to life as her body was being put in a coffin. The vice girl reportedly collapsed during a sex session last week at the Manor Hotel in Bulaweyo. Convinced she was dead, her shocked client called the police - who sent paramedics to collect the body. 

But as they were loading the 'corpse' into a metal coffin, the hooker suddenly woke up screaming.

Brazilian model posts images of herself breastfeeding calf

 

We’ve heard of milking it for the camera, but this is udderly ridiculous.Sabrina Boing Boing, a brazilian model, is woman of many talents including DJ’ing, impersonating Pamela Anderson and her latest endeavor, breastfeeding calves

 

It appears to be quite the mooooving experience too. Boing Boing instagrammed photos of herself lending her ample breasts to an unsuspecting calf on the side of the road in her native country.

 

Happy as that farm animal might be, people in Brazil are having a cow over the photos, which were accompanied with the caption, "some things don't need to make sense, just worth it!" 

 

This isn't the model's first teat tasting experience either. Last week, the self-proclaimed animal lover caused another stir after posting instagram photos of herself feeding an ostrich some ripe fruit, conveniently tucked beneath her exposed breast.

Family Of 5 Commit Suicide Believing They Will Meet God

Jaipur: Superstition and blind faith can prove to be fatal. A family of five people in Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan consumed poison and died in the belief that they would meet god.

The family of a photographer Kanchan Singh residing in Gangapur city consumed cyanide laced laddoos on Thursday. Singh also made a video of the entire incident and was even seen telling his family how he tried to meet Lord Shiva in heaven but failed. The family members who died include Singh's wife, three children and his engineer brother.

In fact the entire family was extremely religious and used to observe every festivals and religious ceremonies. They even watched only religious serials and shows on TV and the children were extremely influenced by a serial on Lord Shiva. The entire matter came to light after the police examined the video.Before committing suicide Singh made a video of each and every member of the family and asked them why they wanted to die and also about their feelings. Then the entire family sat together and Singh gave them the laddoos laced with cyanide. All the family members ate the laddoos together and all of them died within a few minutes of each other.
The family members have been identified and they are Kanchan Singh, his wife Neelam, brother Deep Singh, son Pradyumn and daughter Rini has died on the spot. When Singh's niece Rashmi saw her family members dying, she ran away and informed the neighbours, who reached the house and found Singh's mother and nephew alive.

The three surviving members have been admitted to the Sawai Mansingh Hospital in a critical condition.

I found this heart breaking picture of this young girl murdered like she was nothing on Earth this morning. Seriously, I’ve not been myself since then. The details of where or how the victim was murdered havn’t been made known yet but I’ll try get every detailed information about the murder.


With the mind of a psychologist, I would say she was kidnapped,raped and intentionally tortured to death by maybe an enemy.It pains me most to know that the wicked barbarians who did this to are out there walking the streets freely.
